Individuals and Community to be Recognized at Goodwill’s Annual Breakfast Event
CANTON, OH – February 21, 2025 – Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland and East Central Ohio, Inc. (Goodwill) will honor individuals and community partners from the Stark County, Ohio, and Hancock County, West Virginia, areas at its annual Report to the Community breakfast at 7:30 a.m. March 20 at the Nash Family Event & Conference Center at the Pro Football Hall of Fame (2121 George Halas Dr NW, Canton, OH 44708). This event allows Goodwill to report back to the community on its mission programs, operations and overall impact locally.
“Our annual Report to the Community breakfast event gives us the opportunity to share the success stories of participants who have worked with Goodwill and recognize the outstanding work of area businesses and community leaders,” said Anne Richards, President and CEO of Goodwill.
This year’s breakfast was generously sponsored by Aultman Hospital; Assured Partners; Fully Promoted; Krugliak, Wilkins, Griffiths & Dougherty Co., L.P.A.; Metallus; and Mutual of America. The event will feature Nick Doyle as the keynote speaker. Doyle is a local comedian and inspirational speaker who was born with Down syndrome.
The breakfast will highlight the mission programs offered by Goodwill across its 10-county region. Three participants, who worked with Goodwill to secure employment, will be awarded, as well as a community employer, a collaborative partner and a Goodwill staff member.
In 2024, more than 22,000 community members were served by Goodwill, and more than 28 million pounds of materials were diverted from landfills thanks to people donating to Goodwill.
